it’s like in that instant the world ceases to matter and all i can focus on is the feeling of bees in my head buzzing and butterflies in my stomach nudging my chest, which feels like it’s sinking in so i have to take deep breaths in between each and every time i touch her lips. my hands are clumsy but all they do is fumble over this amazing gift in front of me. somehow i’ve never noticed how mesmerizing her eyes are until this moment when i’m so close. i kiss her on her mouth, cheeks, eyelids, forehead and neck like she’s a long lost friend and hold her like i could possibly be losing her again…all in seconds, but it’s a lover’s lifetime
